Dinesh Verma

Hey! I’m Dinesh Verma, an Engineering Leader who’s been obsessed with tech since childhood. My coding journey started back in 5th grade, and one of my proudest early projects was building a Kaun Banega Crorepati game. By 8th grade, I had launched my first blog, and by 10th grade, I was earning from AdSense—which felt like a huge deal back then!

I was also deep into gaming and started recording gameplay using FRAPs way back in 2007. One of my YouTube videos even hit 500K views (though I got roasted for using Bollywood songs in it 😆).

Then came 12th grade, where my marks didn’t quite meet my parents’ expectations, and I had to shut everything down. But in engineering, I shifted focus—I wanted to get really good at programming and land a solid job.

Over the years, I’ve worked at some amazing companies, where I gained deep insights into Scale, Engineering Excellence, and building high-performance systems. Each experience shaped how I approach engineering today—balancing performance, reliability, and developer productivity.

Now, I’m at Vymo, leading three platforms—Data Platform, Data Ingestion Platform, and Development Partner Platform. My role isn’t just about solving technical problems anymore; it’s about building teams, defining best practices, and setting the bar for engineering excellence. We’re shaping what great engineering should look like here.

Outside of work, I’m all about football—if it’s the weekend, you’ll probably find me on the field. I enjoy all kinds of games, whether it's video games or a casual board game session. Lately, I’ve been learning the keyboard, which has been a fun challenge.

I’m also giving YouTube another shot—sometimes streaming games, sometimes sharing tech tutorials. Let’s see where that goes!

I’m always excited to connect with like-minded people—whether it’s about tech, gaming, music, or just exchanging cool ideas. If any of this resonates with you, feel free to reach out on Linkedin , X and Youtube . Always up for a good conversation! 🚀
